Hybrid Work Is Fueling Digital Dysfunction
Leaders are exploiting digital technologies to create a robust new hybrid work model. Though digital transformation brings manifest benefits, it fuels “digital dysfunction” (DD), which undermines digital transformation’s beneficial outcomes, our productivity and health. The unforeseen and unexpected consequences have persistent and negatively deep effects, not just on individual employees, but on organizations. Digital workplace leaders can adopt a “layers and players” approach to identify disequilibrium and remedy organizational DD.
