The way we currently design and build Digital Identity products is woefully unrepresentative of the very customers they need to recognise. Inherent bias in ID processes introduces huge risk into every aspect of the customer journey - and you'll be surprised at how many different ways we are all intrinsically biased!
Emma Lindley from Women In Identity will highlight new areas of risk being introduced through unconscious bias and low diversity across the identity sector:
1 Poor customer conversion rates because the computer simply can't recognise good customers
2 Lack of confidence in your product because of increased errors and "exception handling"
3 Lack of innovation, caused by a simple lack of difference in thinking across teams
Emma will share learnings from the Women In Identity community that can help product and CX designers and developers take a much more inclusive approach to their work
