Mbula Schoen is a Director Analyst in the Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) team. She tracks PPM software vendors and their products and is a lead author of the Critical Capabilities for PPM software products. Mbula Schoen's covers a broad spectrum of PPM topics including project prioritization, PMO formation and roadmap to PMO success and value delivery. Her research also extends to the organizational change management, culture and employee engagement that is related to technology deployments.

Ms. Schoen brings more than 20 years of experience working with global companies in Asia, Eastern and Western Europe, and Africa. In addition to her work at Gartner, Ms. Schoen is a visiting professor at a Munich University, where she lectures in management information systems.
