I received a phone call from someone saying they can offer me a room at a lower rate or at a different hotel. Is this a scam?

Gartner Conferences will always provide notice to attendees and exhibitors when using a third-party provider, such as George P. Johnson (GPJ), as part of the conference administration. Please note: Many of our exhibitors and delegates have been contacted by an organization called Exhibitors Housing Management (EHS) that claims to be affiliated with Gartner. This is a scam and Gartner is in no way affiliated with EHS. If you have registered as an attendee or exhibitor for a Gartner conference and you receive an email from a third-party provider claiming to be contacting you on behalf of Gartner Conferences, please contact the Gartner Conferences team at +44 (0) 20 3868 5238 to verify the third-party provider prior to responding.

Reservation cancellations made before 5:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, 10 October 2019, will not incur cancellation fees. After 5:00 p.m. ET on 10 October 2019, the hotel will charge a nonrefundable deposit of the two-night minimum stay, including applicable taxes and resort fees, to the credit card provided at the time of booking. The rate provided at the time of booking and listed in your confirmation email will be the rate charged by the hotel for your nonrefundable deposit. Government rate rooms will not be charged until check-in and are subject to the same cancellation policies outlined above.

Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival date will result in the cancellation of your entire reservation and will be subject to the cancellation penalty.
