Marco Barreira serves as a member of the Product Supply Leadership Team and as Head of Product Supply Strategy & Transformation for the Crop Science division of Bayer. Based in Monheim, Germany, Marco is responsible for centrally steering and coordinating all activities related to the integration of Monsanto. He also drives global Product Supply initiatives on sustainability, digitalization, community outreach, project management, and communication.

Throughout his 20-year career, Marco has garnered experience in regional and global supply chain management and supply chain manufacturing, including demand planning, customer service, sourcing and procurement. Prior to his current rule, Marco spent six years at Monsanto as Supply Chain Row Crops Lead for the South America Region and Planning Lead for South America Supply Chain. Marco graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and from the Wharton School with a degree in Business Analytics Specialization.
