Since 2014, Jacques van den Broek is CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Randstad, the global leader in the HR services industry helping nearly 2 million candidates find a meaningful job with more than 236,000 clients. With on average 34,680 corporate employees active in 38 markets, Randstad generated revenue of € 20,7 billion in 2020.
After graduating in law, he held a management position with an international trading company and joined Randstad in 1988. Appointments followed as Regional Director in the Netherlands and, subsequently, as Marketing Director Randstad Europe. In 2002, he moved to Capac Inhouse Services as Managing Director, also taking on responsibility for Randstad in Denmark and Switzerland. He joined Randstad’s Executive Board in 2004. Since than he has been responsible for the significant boost of our global accounts which yield approximately 25% of Group revenue. He led the integration of major operations after the Vedior merger, including the one in France. Currently he is responsible for operations in France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Spain, Portugal as well as Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay). In addition, he is responsible for Ausy and Business Concept Development.
Jacques van den Broek is married and has two sons. He enjoys playing sports - soccer, running, golf - as well as art, and he collects original comic books.
