Marcin Detyniecki is Group Chief Data Scientist & Head of AI Research and Thought Leadership at insurance global leader AXA. In addition to his work on AI and ML-related challenges, he is leading the efforts to understand and develop quantum computing across the company. For several years, he and his team have been studying both the available hardware and software and developing partnerships in order to determine how and when the insurance industry can develop a real quantum advantage. Marcin’s mission involves high-level research and development, but also work on concrete use-cases with business impact.

Marcin has over 200 high impact peer-reviewed publications and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Pierre et Marie Curie.
