Mariano Saúca Blattner is a telecommunications engineer, but never had the vocation to work as such. Spent 14 years at Accenture in the consulting business, mainly in IT system integration projects, before entering Santander Group. In Santander I joined the IT organization, working at the beginning in core banking transformation projects for various of the banks (Spain, UK, US, Germany). Then I specialized in the SW quality competence, where I spent my last 10 years, being today head of the SW Quality Center of Excellence, that provides specialized quality related services to the various banks in the Group, covering areas such as Agile Testing, Tools & Frameworks, Non-functional Testing, Test Data Management or Test Environments Management. In June 2022 I moved to the Gravity line of work, also within Santander, to help in the Gravity migration projects in the Group, activity which I do in parallel with my SW Quality duties.
