Gartner Opening Keynote: Winning the Long Game

Stan Aronow, Distinguished VP Analyst, Gartner

If ever there was a time that supply chain has operated at the intersection of people, planet, and purpose, it is now. Global supply chains quite literally helped save the world and kept society running during the darkest days of the pandemic. Looking forward, there is an opportunity to solve some of the world’s longer-term social and environmental challenges.
This welcome address will explore how global heads of supply chain and operations can rewrite the rules in support of new markets, customer requirements, and broader stakeholder needs. Supply chains will need to broaden their remit and unlock the potential of teams, networks, and digital systems for us to collectively win the long game for our customers, partners, employees and broader society. It’s time to evolve how we leave a new legacy for the next generation.
