Privacy is declared a human right since 1948. Yet, with privacy laws being tightened globally "such as LGPD" in Brazil, privacy incidents keep happening. Among all the turbulence that the new privacy laws like LGPD have caused, the driver remains "just a law". Is there an implied business case to ignore it? Is privacy overrated, or even dead? Are there benefits to "get it right"?
