Dan Cunningham
Sr Director, Application Engineering
Dan Comes to us from Brigham Young University in Provo Utah where he graduated in International Relations in the late Pleistocene era after which he served on active duty as a commissioned officer in the USAF for about four years.
Dan then spent 17 years at Novell in positions ranging from Localization and Internationalization to System Test building 32 Node Clusters and torturing Samba in the SuperLab. After being reduced by Novell with 300 of his closest friends, Dan spent three years with Avocent (owned by LanDesk at the time) building test automation for a Data Center Management product. When he finally was able to return to BYU in 2010, he wound his way through SOA, API Management, System Engineering, Software Development and then finally got kicked out and put into leadership. Dan’s successful initiatives have included a QA Test Engineering presence, DevOps methodologies, and most recently implementing a Low-Code platform in OIT.
