Guy-Laurent Arpino is Chief Information Officer at Louis Dreyfus Company, a world leading
merchant of agricultural commodities with annual net sales of 37 billion dollars. He leads the
overall group IT strategy across all business platforms, functions and regions, in order to enable
LDC strategic goals and ambitions.
He is also on the Board of Directors of Covantis, a Joint Venture between ADM, Bunge, Cargill,
Louis Dreyfus, Cofco and Viterra to replace inefficient post-trade processes with a blockchain-
based digital platform.
He joined LDC in 2016 from Bacardi-Martini, where he was CIO for Europe since 2011, with
additional responsibility for global business intelligence and digital marketing services. Prior to
Bacardi, Guy-laurent spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble, most recently as Global IT & Shared
Services Associate Director for the Braun Division. He holds an Engineering degree in
Electronics and Signal Processing from “Ecole de Chimie, Physique, Electronique” (CPE Lyon).
