Barkha Saxena is the Chief Data Officer at Poshmark, a leading social commerce platform for the next generation of retailers and shoppers, where she built the data team from the ground up and leads all analytics, data science, data tools and machine learning (ML) initiatives across the business. Barkha has over 15 years of experience leading large teams to build and sell analytics and machine learning products across multiple industries. Before joining Poshmark, she led the development of pricing optimization solutions as VP of Data Science Product at Nomis Solutions, and machine learning-based digital media buying products as VP of Data Science at comScore. Barkha started her career at FICO, where, over the course of a decade-long tenure, she helped found the company’s Decision Optimization team and created machine learning solutions across a range of industries including finance, insurance and retail. Barkha is a thought leader, frequently speaking and writing about data, retail and women in leadership, and holds an MBA from Wharton, an MA in Statistics from UCSB and an integrated MS & BS in Statistics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur).
