Don is currently the Chief Data Officer at Cenovus Energy Inc., a company focused on energizing the world to make people’s lives better. Don is responsible for data and information governance, education, training and democratization of data management and analytics capabilities across the enterprise. Don’s team provides services delivery of data engineering, data visualization and advanced analytics.

Don has over 30 years of experience within the energy industry, enabling companies with data and IT strategies, solutions, and services. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Don graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Information Systems.
