Accelerate learning and build a shared vision by attending as a team

In order to lead their organizations to recovery from the cultural and economic impact of COVID-19, HR leaders must ask themselves how they can ensure a profitable and high-performing work environment that is also fair and equitable. In order to do this, we must reimagine the entire HR function and how the recruitment, development, rewards and diversity programs work together to promote fairness across the organization.

The theme of this year's Gartner ReimagineHR Conference, "The Equity Imperative: How Fairness Improves Performance," is designed to help HR executives across every role within the HR function tackle this challenge with confidence.

By attending as a team, you can:

  • Build your business and leadership skills, while expanding your professional network
  • Earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits through SHRM and HRCI
  • Take advantage of group rate discounts
  • Use the conference as an opportunity for recognition and off-site team building

There is no better environment for stakeholders to align, learn and network

Divide and conquer

Each of the seven agenda tracks is dedicated to a specific role within the HR function, so teams can hear a consistent message tailored to their unique perspective.

Evaluate vendors and solution providers

Meet with the best HR technology, solutions and service providers and create a shortlist for all stakeholders across your business.

Validate your strategies with experts and peers

Take advantage of in-the-moment ideation with all stakeholders in one room when you join interactive Ask the Expert and roundtable sessions. Plus, each attendee is entitled to a 30-minute consultation with a Gartner expert.

Tips for attending a conference as a team

Drive your HR strategies forward when you align conference learnings with those of your colleagues and key stakeholders.

  • Have a team planning call to set key objectives.
  • Decide a strategy for how to divide and conquer the agenda (for example, which sessions to attend collectively versus separately).
  • Agree on how you will share key learnings with each other and with your team back in the office.
  • Create a document repository for notes, slides, etc., on Google Drive or other file-sharing platform.
  • Have each team member schedule their one-on-one with a Gartner expert and brainstorm meeting topics.
  • Create a Microsoft Teams/Slack/Google Hangout channel to stay in touch during the conference.
  • Update your notes as you attend more sessions.
  • Make a plan to share a coffee or lunch break together as a team.
  • Set up a.m./p.m. meetings to discuss what you have learned, and any outstanding questions about the conference material.
  • Connect on LinkedIn with any peers you met during the sessions.
  • Set up a meeting to review key take-aways and create an action plan for how you will apply what you have learned. What are you going to start doing/stop doing/do differently as a result of what you have learned?
  • Schedule follow-up meetings with any exhibitors that piqued your interest.
  • Request your unique code to redeem for SHRM/HRCI CPE credits.
  • Schedule time with your teams back at the office to share your learnings and new initiatves.
