Daniel Marsili

President Elect
Daniel Marsili is President elect of the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR). He will assume the role January 1, 2023. Through a rigorous peer review process, NAHR recognizes individuals as Fellows who have distinguished themselves through their leadership in the broad field of human resources and who have had a significant impact on the profession. It similarly recognizes select organizations and institutions. Through its Foundation, NAHR sponsors numerous programs including its signature CHRO Academy, Fellows in the Classroom program, and an array of scholarships that support students committed to human resources careers.
He is a retired Chief Human Resources Officer of Colgate-Palmolive Company, a leading global consumer products company with operations in over 200 countries and more than 30,000 employees worldwide. He retired from Colgate in 2020 having spent thirty years of his career there and having served as CHRO for fifteen years. Prior to Colgate-Palmolive, he held Human Resources positions with Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company and Hyatt Corporation. He holds board positions with three not-for-profit organizations; Miracle Foundation, the Black Experience, and the National Academy of Human Resources, where he has been a Fellow since 2012. He is also a Fellow of the Human Resources Policy Institute at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He is a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds a JD from Loyola University New Orleans. He currently lives in New York and consults with organizations on their human capital needs.
