Gavin Grounds is Senior Director of Security, Risk and Compliance at Meta and is a pioneer in Cyber Risk Quantification, having designed and operationalized highly-scalable, automated, business-centric quantification methodologies and processes.
Previously, Gavin was Executive Director at Verizon, leading Governance, Risk & Compliance as part of the executive leadership team of Corporate Information Security as well as CISO for Global Delivery at DXC and at Hewlett Packard, he built and led a 1,800-strong global security function servicing its Enterprise Services business.
Gavin is a Chartered Engineer, CITP, CISSP, CDPSE, Fellow of BCS (Chartered Institute for IT) and USA Section Chair, and President ISACA Austin Chapter.
Gavin is a runner, having raced more than ten full and half marathons recently. He is a fundraiser for charities for children, suicide prevention and eradicating poverty.
