Gartner conducted the “PPM and ContinuousNext Study 2019” to understand how program or project management offices (PMOs), enterprise program or project management offices (EPMOs) and strategy realization offices (SROs) enable or hinder the continuous change inherent with digital transformation. We sought to identify which of the practices of PMOs, EPMOs and SROs in digitally mature organizations were enablers to continuous change, and which were hindrances. This provided an insight into the practices that mainstream PMOs, EPMOs and SROs will need to adopt.
