Case Study: NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence: From Standards to Implementation: The “How” of Cybersecurity

The NCCoE brings together experts from industry, government, and academia to help organizations large and small manage their cybersecurity risks. Our work combines existing standards and best practices with commercially available technologies to show practitioners the “how” of cybersecurity by providing free, modular guidance practitioners can use to address risks within their own unique environments. We’ll provide an overview of the NCCoE, our public-private partnership model, and NIST applied cybersecurity project priorities for 2023, including: The Cybersecurity Framework update, zero trust, identity, ransomware, and migration to post-quantum cryptography.
