Becky Crane joined General Mills in 2003 as a Distribution Management Associate at the Buffalo, NY Flour Mill. In 2004, she relocated to Minneapolis as a Logistics Operations Planner (LOP) for Yoplait and transitioned into a role supporting the implementation of a new planning system (APO). Over the next several years, Becky held positions of increasing responsibility in our Logistics Operations network, including roles as Logistics Manager in Avon and Buffalo, NY. In 2009, Becky accepted her first cross-functional role as the Operations Manager in our Hannibal, MO plant where she held roles in both the Progresso Soup department as well as the Chewy Bars department. In 2011, she joined the Walmart Sales region as the SC Development Manager and had the opportunity to work across an incredibly broad set of strategies with the customer and GMI Sales. After welcoming her second child in 2013, Becky stepped into her first Plant Manager role in Vineland, NJ and very shortly assumed the Hannibal Plant Manager position. The Hannibal Plant manager role was hugely impactful both personally and professionally as a mother of 2 young girls leading one of our largest facilities – it truly takes a village!
In 2017 Becky and her family were presented with an unexpected opportunity to join the Sourcing organization as Director of Global Sourcing Packaging located in Nyon, Switzerland. Having never traveled outside the United States, this was an adventure that ignited our families love of learning, travel, and trying new things. After 2 amazing years in Switzerland, Becky and her family relocated back home to Minnesota where she joined Paul Gallagher’s NA Supply Chain team leading SC Transformation and BPM for the NAR segment.
Prior to joining General Mills, Becky worked for Target in Merchandising as part of the Mervyn’s division in the Bay Area.
Becky grew up in Golden Valley, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management where she holds degrees in Marketing and Supply Chain management. She and her family currently reside in the Minneapolis area and enjoy lake life and spending time with family and friends.
