Catherine is responsible the Global Operations strategy and roadmap to achieve Ingredion’s 2030 environmental sustainability goals, integrating 47 plants across regions and groups to accomplish strategic goals in Greenhouse Gas emissions, renewable electricity, water, waste, wastewater, and plastics.
Catherine joined Ingredion in 2010 as Senior Supply Chain Manager in the United States, serving in positions of increasing responsibility including Agribusiness Director, U.S./Canada and PMO Lead for the Penford acquisition integration. She worked internationally in São Paulo, Brazil as Vice President, Supply Chain and Product Management, South America and in Singapore as Vice President, Supply Chain and Procurement, APAC. Prior to Ingredion, Catherine worked for British Petroleum (BP) for 12 years in technical and commercial areas.
Catherine graduated from the University of Minnesota with B.S. degree in chemical engineering. She holds both a M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and earned a MBA at the University of Chicago.
