Case Study: Shell’s Control Tower Journey in the Gulf of Mexico

The Control Tower Shell implemented in the Gulf of Mexico in 2019 represented the first attempt at an integrated Supply Chain in their Upstream operations, and it was put in place 9 months before COVID and all that came with it. While there have been many lessons learned along the way, over the course of the last four years, the GOM Control Tower has evolved to become the standard archetype for all of Shell Upstream Supply Chain Operations globally. This talk is designed to share those lessons learned, and outline how the team was able to overcome them.
