How do I register for the conference?

What methods can I use to pay?

You may pay with a Gartner Supply Chain ticket, credit card or invoice with PO number. A payment must be made prior to the event or payment will need to be collected upon entrance to the event. Please note Gartner Summit and Symposium tickets cannot be used for this conference.

 

What is the cost to attend?

What are the conference hours?

Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference 2019 will begin Monday, May 13 and ends on Thursday, May 16.

When can I make my hotel reservation?

Hotel reservations open to registered attendees at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, January 10, 2019.

 

How do I make a hotel reservation?

Please note that you must be registered for the conference to make a reservation. Reservations can be made by logging into your Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference registration profile in your Gartner.com account and selecting “Book Hotel.” Alternatively, you can contact Gartner Global Conferences for assistance at 1.866.405.2511. Hotel rooms are assigned within a real-time inventory system and are first-come, first-served based on availability.

 

Can I call the hotel directly to make my hotel reservation?

Reservations cannot be made directly with the hotel. Calls to the hotel will be redirected to Gartner Global Conferences.

 

Can I book more than one reservation?

Reservations must be made individually and can be made by registered attendees only. Provisional reservations are not permitted. If you are part of a registered team looking to stay together, please email Gartner Global Conferences. Hotel room block requests are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Will there be special rates offered by the hotel?

Gartner has reserved a limited block of hotel rooms for registered attendees at the following hotels:

Please note that room rates are subject to applicable taxes and resort fees per night.

Hotel room availability at the discounted Gartner rate is limited and is first-come, first-served based on availability so we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. The deadline to reserve a hotel room through the Gartner hotel reservation site, and at the discounted Gartner rate, is 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2019. Discounted rates cannot be guaranteed after this date.

 

Will a minimum night stay be required?

A two night minimum stay is required.

 

Are rooms available at a government rate for public sector attendees?

Gartner is able to offer a limited number of rooms at the GSA per diem rate in effect during the conference dates. Government rate rooms are subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis for U.S. government officials and military travelers who require the GSA per diem lodging rate. A valid government or military ID will be required at check-in for the hotel to reconfirm your eligibility to receive the per diem rate. The government room rates are quoted at the current GSA per diem rate and are subject to change if GSA rates are adjusted by the government. Government rate rooms will not be charged until check-in and are subject to the same cancellation policies outlined in the Hotel Cancellation Policy.

If the public sector rate is no longer available you will be offered a room at the commercial rate. If you choose to book at the commercial rate the price cannot be adjusted regardless of your public sector status. Please note that the rate listed in your confirmation email will be the rate you will be charged by the hotel.

 

I received a phone call from someone saying they can offer me a room at a lower rate or at a different hotel. Is this a scam?

Gartner Conferences will always provide notice to attendees and exhibitors when using a third party provider, such as George P. Johnson (GPJ), as part of the conference administration. Please note, many of our exhibitors and delegates have been contacted by an organization called Exhibitors Housing Management claiming to be affiliated with Gartner. This is a scam as Gartner is not in any way affiliated with EHS. If you have registered as an attendee or exhibitor for a Gartner conference and you receive an email from a third party provider claiming to be contacting you on behalf of Gartner Conferences, please contact Gartner Global Conferences at 1.866.405.2511 to verify the third party provider prior to responding.

 

How do I get to the conference if I am at one of the offsite properties?

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from the offsite hotels.

 

How do I change or cancel my hotel reservation?

Should you need to change or cancel your hotel reservation prior to 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2019, you can do so by logging into your Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference registration profile in your Gartner.com account or by contacting Gartner Global Conferences at 1.866.405.2511. If you need to change or cancel your hotel reservation after this date, you will need to contact the hotel directly.

 

What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Reservation cancellations made prior to 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2019 will not incur cancellation fees. After 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 19, 2019, the hotel will charge a non-refundable deposit of the two night minimum stay, including applicable taxes and resort fees, to the credit card provided at the time of booking. The rate provided at the time of booking and listed in your confirmation email will be the rate charged by the hotel for your non-refundable deposit. Government rate rooms will not be charged until check-in and are subject to the same cancellation policies outlined above.

 

Failure to check-in on your scheduled arrival date will result in the cancellation of your entire reservation and will be subject to the cancellation penalty.

 

Please note, if you cancel your conference registration you will need to cancel your hotel reservation separately.

Are there any speaking and exhibitor opportunities at the conference?

Opportunities to present are generally available at the Gartner conferences. Please fill out the form here and a representative of Gartner conferences will contact you.

 

There are speaking opportunities available for exhibitors who are exhibiting at the conference. If you are interested in exhibiting, you will need to speak with a Gartner exhibitor sales representative. If you know who the representative is for your space, please reach out to them directly. How do I sign up for an analyst one-on-one?

Analyst one-on-ones are available exclusively to paid registered full conference attendees and are not available to exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand for these appointments, each attendee may reserve up to two analyst one-on-ones with a different analyst or consultant. Once prebooking opens, registration for analyst one-on-ones is available through Gartner Events Navigator, our online agenda-building tool.

 

Am I guaranteed the analyst of my choice in my one-on-one meeting? 

All registered attendees have the exclusive opportunity to speak directly with up to two Gartner analysts in private, 30-minute one-on-one meetings. Due to the high demand for particular analysts, sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

How do I sign up for a roundtable?

Roundtable sessions are available exclusively to paid registered conference attendees and are not available to exhibitors or exhibitor conference session pass holders. Due to the high demand and limited availability (up to 12 end users per session), we recommend you register in advance for these unique sessions. Once prebooking opens, registration for roundtables is available through Gartner Events Navigator, our online agenda building tool.

Are there any restrictions around analyst one-on-ones?

Organizations sending end users to this summit do have a limit of eight one-on-one meetings per organization. Each one-on-one meeting booked by an individual must be with different analysts.

 

In addition, one-on-ones are not available for vendor briefings or product demonstrations with analysts. The analyst reserves the right to stop the meeting if this situation occurs. Clients interested in briefing analysts may contact the Vendor Relations department by emailing vendor.briefings@gartner.com to schedule a meeting following the event.

When will I have access to documentation?

 

Registered attendees will be informed via email as event documentation becomes available on Gartner Events Navigator. This email will include step-by-step instructions to access conference materials.
