As a strong supporter of the community, he is engaged with a large number of philanthropic endeavors and serves on the boards for KansasCityCIO Advisory and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He holds degrees from Alabama A&M, George Washington University and Georgia State University. Irvin currently resides in the greater Kansas City area with his wife of 22 years and his son.
