His main area of coverage is the continued growth and evolution of cloud service providers and the resultant shift in most organizations to cloud and hybrid IT. He covers private, public, hybrid, multicloud and distributed cloud topics, with a particular focus on the ecosystem of cloud IT service providers that serves the market.
When working with technology and service providers, Mr. MacLellan's research focuses on how to evolve and position technologies and services to succeed amid the changing buying patterns and expectations of the market. In particular, he will advise technology product managers in product planning and product development. When working with technology consumers, he will advise on how best to exploit the current and emerging technology and the differing options in service delivery and consumption, in order to best satisfy the needs of their organizations and workloads.
