Advanced analytics is more widely used to augment, not automate, process
decision making. However, that difference in use will narrow significantly in two years. 
To support supply chain leaders responsible for artificial intelligence and advanced
analytics in charting an analytics adoption roadmap, Gartner conducted the Digitalizing Supply Chain With Advanced Analytics Survey to map the analytics practices of leaders who have leveraged at least two of the three analytics techniques — predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics and artificial intelligence — in supply chain decision making.
