Attribute-based forecasting (ABF) is a powerful demand planning and product portfolio technique that is offered in many packages, but not typically deployed within organizations because of complex data requirements, a lack of organizational support, and an absence of clarity on its benefits. In this article, we seek to better define the options within ABF and highlight areas to consider in deploying these tools.
