In oil field services, Schlumberger's differentiator is technology, with quality as the metric permeating through every group in the company. But its supply chain success is because of its people. In the past seven years, Schlumberger has built a supply chain organization of 2,200, with less than a 1% attrition rate. How does the company make this happen? We spoke with Samir Lahbabi, process improvement manager on Schlumberger's supply chain team, to find out how.
