JCPenney recently raised its quarterly outlook while revealing its latest strategic plans, including a renewed emphasis on IT. The company plans to push more basic IT services to third-party outsourcing firms, such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and will manage more strategic growth initiatives internally in its "digital center of excellence."
