Enterprise manufacturing intelligence (EMI) enables manufacturing response tradeoffs within the supply network by providing a better understanding of the capability and capacity needed to deliver agility amid complexity. Manufacturers seeking to predict and model future and broader business performance against increased volatility in customer demand, shorter order lead times, and product-mix proliferation must take EMI efforts beyond the four walls of the plant.
