L&T Heavy Engineering Division (HED) needed to improve its win rate and time to delivery on an engineer-to-order process that had become inefficient and disjointed by a multitude of CAD, product data management, project management, and manufacturing applications as well as desktop tools. This led to a plan that consolidated all the disjointed engineering applications onto one PLM platform to improve processes, from bid and proposal to project management.
