Senior executives from leading retail, consumer products, and apparel companies were surveyed this week on RFID adoption at AMR Research's Third Annual Retail and Consumer Goods Executive Conference. Their responses show that RFID will experience a faster rate of adoption than the bar code did 20 years ago, but major hurdles still exist to make the technology pervasive at the consumer level.
