Retailers must adopt advanced retail planning so they can quickly align product decisions with store-specific demand signals. For those that don't embrace it, the result will be painful: a widening gap with early adopters that are realizing significant sales and inventory improvements while delivering a superior consumer experience. Unfortunately, there is no easy, one-size-fits-all system to help.
