The Demise of Regional ERP Instances

Many companies currently maintain separate ERP instances in different world regions (Americas, EMEA, Asia) to deal with time zone and business practice differences. A recent study of ERP upgrades indicates that most companies plan to move to single global instances. Companies must assess the timing for consolidating to a single global instance of ERP and eliminating the burden of regional instances.
