In a world flooded with cynicism, a theme from our recent Supply Chain Executive Conference, "Supply Chain Saves the World," may have struck some as more of aspiration than a realistic objective. While former President Clinton reminded all of us in the ballroom that "one person can make a difference," it's easy to dismiss that notion--until it comes true. This is one such true story.
