American Express Business Travel has formed a strategic alliance with Rearden Commerce, an employee business services vendor. The deal looks to be a smart one for all parties. Rearden Commerce gains access to a travel giant and its customers, American Express, a pioneer in online travel, gains cutting-edge technology, and procurement groups gain a new tool to manage employee travel spending.
