SAP is following up its successful acquisition of Lighthammer with another acquisition that will send ripples (perhaps waves) through the lean software market. It's buying lean manufacturing vendor Factory Logic. The acquisition has implications for midmarket ERP vendors and paper-on-glass MES vendors alike.
