iSoft will provide the EDI-INT AS2 package for all of Wal-Mart's suppliers. The first 10,000 e-mails go out this week, informing suppliers that they have one year to either take a free software offer with a $300 annual maintenance fee or choose an alternative certified EDI-INT AS2 provider. IBM, as the designated integrator, should gain substantial revenue in integrating this into the back-office systems of these vendors.
