SAS partnered with many CRM vendors, including Siebel, by providing them with data mining and predictive modeling products. The company finally asked itself why shouldn't it get a piece of the hot CRM market, and answered in March by purchasing Intrinsic, a U.K.-based campaign management vendor. The results are its three vertical Enterprise Marketing Automation (EMA) Solutions for the Telecom, Insurance, and Credit Card Services industries.
