Blending an apprenticeship in its homeland of Turkey with U.S. success, IMS yazilim is now ready to launch a broader attack. Its core technology comes from iCron, the original development organisation also based in Istanbul. The company started with the Mixed Model Scheduler (MMS) that was primarily a finite scheduling tool, working across multiple industries but gaining ground particularly in Automotive, White Goods, Glass, and Textiles. A new and rearchitected product, released in 1998 under the brand of the iCron APS, has gained some early momentum with some nine sites in Turkey as the development efforts continue to round out the total product offering.
