Summary

Pilgrim Software is currently beta-testing its Web-based version of the AIAG's Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process called Automotive Focus. The Automated Focus offering includes the Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) components that are needed for suppliers to maintain QS-9000 compliance in the automotive industry's New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Electronic APQP systems provide suppliers with automated tools for the labor-intensive and document heavy process. Pilgrim's Automotive Focus provides collaborative touch points for suppliers to maintain compliance to OEM quality guidelines, as well as the internal quality management system to maintain the APQP process.
