AMR Research was recently involved with a leading global Biotech manufacturer and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in a collaborative project scope and development session based on the Accelerated Solution Design - DesignShop ASE methodology. It required bringing together 80 globally selected individuals, which included business and manufacturing executives and a broad cross section of operations and IT personnel for three days of intense sessions. The focus of this particular ASE exercise was to consolidate different and fragmented manufacturing IT initiatives into one global program under executive sponsorship. The goal was to produce a manufacturing change program that aligns with business and supply chain priorities. They developed action plans that would take immediate effect.
