TanData has been in the parcel manifesting business for a long time. In the early 1980s, the company came out with the first PC-based, parcel manifesting application. However, for much of its history, the company customized applications and developed toolkits resulting in an installed base of largely one-off projects and a functionally rich, but hard-to-configure toolkit. TanData recognizes that to be a viable company, it needs to deliver a packaged application to the market. During the past nine months, the company revamped its management and introduced the ChainLink application suite. ChainLink effectively changes TanData from a technology-driven organization to a market-driven organization.
