Analyst(s): Gene Ruth

Creating a backup strategy and mapping it onto an IT infrastructure is a daunting challenge. A solid strategy requires organizations to identify and map their data into a backup implementation that will satisfy a wide range of recovery requirements. Creating a strategy in an ad hoc fashion leaves organizations exposed to unknown risks and high implementation costs. To help organizations avoid data loss and minimize costs, Research Director Gene Ruth provides guidance for developing a backup strategy, plan, and consequent implementation.
