During a recent Executive Programs workshop held in the Netherlands, CIOs discussed the future of "Everyone's IT," one of the four potential futures of IT as discussed in the Gartner research note, "The Future of the IT Organization: Four Scenarios." During the workshop, the CIOs focused on what this future would mean for their organizations — the most important attributes, the required capabilities, the involved risks and what it would take to migrate to this future.
