The global mobile infrastructure market shrank by 11% in 2012, mostly due to uncertainty in the macro economy. The top five vendors suffered different levels of declination and Long Term Evolution was the only growth segment. Samsung was the sole vendor among the top six to achieve growth (at 10%).
