  • IT departments will keep storage arrays on three-to-five-year product replacement cycles because of asset management considerations and the time needed by vendors to develop and harden operationally important new features in the marketplace
  • IT departments must increase the investment in storage migration capabilities, as data is growing faster than the ability to migrate data from old to new storage devices
