Semiconductor capital equipment spending returns to quarter-over-quarter growth in 2013, but this will not be sufficient to overcome depressed spending at the end of 2012 and create an annual increase. Total spending in 2013 will hit $35.8 billion, down 5.5% from $37.8 billion in 2012.
