Securing and Selling the Patient Portal

To qualify for "meaningful use" incentives a U.S. HDO must give 50% of its patients access to their health information, and 5% must use it. To encourage adoption, an HDO must promote the portal and its CIO must ensure access is convenient and secure for patients, proxies and caregivers.
