Published: 07 August 2013

Analyst(s): Joe Skorupa , Naresh Singh , Christian Canales

This quarter, we forecast 40 Gigabit Ethernet shipments to reach 3.6 million ports and $1.8 billion in spending by 2017. The overall enterprise network equipment market will grow slightly slower than what was forecast in the 1Q13 update, mainly due to adjustments in the wireless LAN segment.
